The Ottilienquelle spring was created in 1894 by Johann Baptist Moser and named in honor of his wife and daughter. It is located on an old Philippsgrube mine tunnel and is now a popular resting place. The current shelter dates from 1977.

The zigzag path on the Potzberg, also known as the Presidential or Snake Path, leads up the mountain in several switchbacks and offers a pleasant incline thanks to its serpentine route. The path owes its name to its characteristic course and the fact that high-ranking visitors, including presidents, used to take this route to the summit.

The Potzberg Tower: The tower was built in 1952 and inaugurated on July 13, 1952. The climb up the 35-meter-high tower is worthwhile; once at the top, you have a wonderful panoramic view. The viewing platform is open from March to October from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Potzberg Hiking Trail: This is also highly recommended. The circular trail can be customized to your needs; shortcuts are signposted. The Schützenbrunnen spring is located at an elevation of approximately 430 meters in the forest near Neunkirchen am Potzberg and was created in 1894. The circular pond was created on an old ore dump and is fed by a tunnel spring. Due to its low pH, the water is not drinkable, but it provides a habitat for rare animals such as fire salamanders and grass snakes. Local festivals used to take place here, and as early as the 18th century, the spring water was considered to have medicinal properties. The surrounding old Douglas firs and beeches date back to Bavarian times.
