A very nice rest stop in the heart of Hüffler, with a small fountain and information boards, including information about the Hüffler circular hiking trails. Mostly pleasantly shady – thanks to the trees and the adjacent house facade.

💎 History lovers should stop here: At the highest point of the Diamond Cutters' Trail, you'll come across a historic border from 1786 – at that time between the Electorate of the Palatinate and the County of von der Leyen. Some of the stones bear coats of arms, some initials, and tell of a time when borders were defined with posts, signs, and maps. 📍 Tip: 💎 Read the information board carefully – it combines history, the region, and the hiking route into a truly unique highlight.

🗺️ This sign tells the story of one of the oldest routes in the region: the "Altstraße" (Old Road) on the ridge between Brücken and Glan-Münchweiler. A route ran here as early as the Iron Age – over 2,000 years old!
