On June 7, 1222, the Antonite Monastery in Tempzin was founded as a hospital by Heinrich Borwin I, his wife Adelheid, and his sons from his first marriage, Heinrich Borwin II and Nikolaus II. The church is a three-aisled country house of enormous proportions, something one would hardly expect in the flat countryside. The vaults date from the early 16th century, and those in the side aisle date from 1909 to 1912.

A charming natural setting with picturesque hilly landscapes, forests, and lakes awaits you. The flora and fauna are diverse: for example, you can observe grey wagtails, kingfishers, and liverworts. Other special features of the area include the state's largest inland salt marsh near Sülten and rewetted kettle bogs, for example near Warin.

The Radebach begins at the Klein Labenz lake promenade on the Groß Labenzer See with a fish ladder and meanders through a natural and wooded nature reserve, through the Radebach valley with the Princess Gorge, through the village of Blankenberg, past the town of Brüel and ends in the Brüeler Bach before it flows into the Warnow near Weitendorf.
