The Viti Tower, as the people of Seesen call it today, was the church tower of the former St. Vitus Church, the main church of Sehusastadt at the time. During the Thirty Years' War the church burned down in 1626 after an attack by imperial troops and was restored in 1657. stadtverwaltung-seesen.de
