Even if the King's Chair is not in its original location, it still provides an entertaining introduction to the German coronation system from the Middle Ages to modern times. You also get a fantastic view of the Rhine Valley. It can be reached via the Rhine Castle Trail from Koblenz to Rhens or the Wolfsdelle Dream Trail. In both cases you have to leave the hiking trail for a short time.
