Röttal High Plateau

The Röttal (on my way there) is a high valley about 500 m above the Ahrntal. Once you have reached the Rötkreuz, it is only a few meters to the Rötalm. Behind it, the valley, over which the shapely Rötspitze towers, widens like a birthday child at the coffee table. The decorated guests - flanking two thousand meter peaks - accessories to honor the jubilee. The Rötbach meanders leisurely through the grass plain, which turns rusty red in autumn and at the end of which the dairy cows and young cattle of the Rötalm graze (or doze) somewhere. Coming from the Rötkreuz there are a few curves along the Rötbach, which is already rapidly flowing or falling here, until you can see the imposing plateau with the Rötalm. The stream flows through red-green-yellow grass like a canyon. Coming from the Lenkjöchlhütte you immediately have the best overview - going back to the hut is always worthwhile.
