About Berliner Wanderschuh

For my birthday 🎁 I wanted and got a hike through the autumnal Schlaubetal. A dear friend and I started at the Bremsdorfer Mühle and meandered parallel to the Schlaube through its picturesque valley steaming from the rain of the previous night, changed sides at the Klettwitzer Mühle, nibbled on purple

During a little break at the Saale and Unstrut, we did a mini hike after the rain in the flower ground near Naumburg. From Henne we first walked through the forest above the rocks and then on the idyllic cycle and hiking trail along the Unstrut to where it flows into the Saale. We continued along the

Today I was traveling as an unofficial tour guide with a handful of women. A round of about 10 km with a stop for refreshments was requested. This round in the Löcknitztal with a circumnavigation of the Heidereuter See and the Wupatzsee was perfectly suited for this. At the end we let ourselves be pampered

At the end of the week I had the opportunity to refresh childhood memories on the Pfaffenstein in Saxon Switzerland. I started in Königstein. After the first ascent on the Malerweg, above Pfaffendorf you walk comfortably along the wide, colorful field edge, where bumblebees and bees were buzzing. Great

Yesterday I undertook a 'high hike' on and on the slopes of the Elbe in Dresden. The starting point was Dresden Laubegast, from where I took the ferry to the other bank of the Elbe. A nice attunement ... especially when a steamer is still driving through the Elbhang panorama...

But you can also take the

After a day off, I set out on the Hohenwittlinger Steig today, a loop from Wittlingen that first leads down along the Wittlinger Bach into the wild and romantic Wolfsschlucht. We continued on narrow paths with the first views of the opposite rock edge Mockenrain, to the Schiller cave. The cave is closed

Sorry for the strange routing! The navigation had switched off unnoticed several times, which led to the dead straight lines. Of course I stayed on the path.

The hike to the Güterstein Waterfalls and their big brother, the Urach Waterfalls, was awesome. Even the weather played along perfectly.

From Wittlingen, in the middle of the biosphere reserve on the Swabian Alb, I hiked a wonderfully varied tour on one of the Grafensteige through the Trailfinger Gorge and the Fischburger Tal. A more detailed description and lots of photos will follow later...

A friendship made it possible: a couple of vacation days on Lago d'Iseo, which doesn't have to hide behind the more well-known northern Italian lakes in terms of size and spectacular mountain scenery.

The plan was to hike what is probably the most spectacular peak on the lake, the Corna Trentapassi. The

On Easter Monday I hiked through the Glau mountains with a dear friend, which had been on my to-do list for ages. The starting point was Klein Beuthen. There is a bus turning point here, which suggests public transport connections and a small parking lot for those who want to hike.
