You can get the most beautiful view of the Mare Aux Joncs Waterfall if you follow the trail of the same name. The starting point is the Riviere Noire (Black River) entrance. If you want to see the waterfall from above, hike the Macchabée Forest Loop Trail. The best place to start is at the Petrin entrance.

Unfortunately, there is no way to do a circular tour of the waterfall. If you come from above, there is no path to get to the lower part of the waterfall.
