This is a cozy restaurant with delicious home-made dishes from the region. You can also sit outside (almost directly on the beach) and look at the Baltic Sea while eating or having coffee and cake. 😊

Attention: You cannot pay by card here, so make sure you have enough cash with you. The Klabautermann also rents out rooms for overnight stays on a small scale.

Slightly secluded restaurant right by the sea. With its rustic character, it is considered a highlight in the region around Hohwacht. Hearty wooden tables and benches in the huge terrace area. When the weather is nice and clear, you can enjoy a wonderful view of Heiligenhafen and the Hohwacht lookout. The wood-panelled interior looks a bit “old fashioned”. Hearty fish and meat dishes. The crispy fried potatoes, labskaus, plaice and cod are particularly praised. You can comfortably enjoy a cocktail in the special area with wooden folding lounge chairs. Attention: walkers and cyclists - only cash payment possible!
