This refuge is the oldest of the two found at the foot of the northern slope of Toubkal. Its main benefactor was Louis Neltner, and it is currently managed by the French Alpine Club. Located at an altitude of 3,200 meters, it has space for 80 people and offers food service. It is necessary to book in advance, especially in times of high demand.
