Gravenmoer is located in the municipality of Dongen, in the province of North Brabant. The dikes and the battle landscape are still reminders of the former peat excavations.
Directly west of 's Gravenmoer flows the Donge, which also forms the municipal boundary. There are a number of smaller nature reserves along the Donge. In the bowl of 's Gravenmoer, between the Martinuskerk and the Donge, there is a small park called the Kerkebos.
South of 's Gravenmoer is the Hoge Dijk, which used to form the border between the Barony of Breda and the County of Holland.
