By the way, the idea for the Wöllstein Fairy Tale Trail comes from the former theater director Margot Haubs: The Wöllstein theater group once performed the stories about the six characters with a lot of passion. They wanted to create something lasting with the hiking trail and created four figures. In 2009 and 2011 another sculpture was added; also financed by donations – including from the St. Franziskus Boy Scout Settlement.
The aluminum sculptures all stand on concrete bases. There are boards on it that tell visitors to the fairytale trail more about the respective character and their story. I particularly like this because these texts encourage parents or grandparents to read the timelessly beautiful stories to their (grand)children again.
The figures were designed by Stefanie Neumann

The route in Neu-Bamberg is a bit adventurous, but then the beautiful path, which is also popular with walkers, rewards.

Nice sculpture of Pippi Longstocking and Mr. Nilsson, their little monkey. It was designed by Stefanie Neumann in 2011 and donated by the members of the Wöllsteiner theater group, the management team of the scouts and friends of fairy tales.
