The project Windpark Illschwang was already tackled in the spring of 2011 by Jura Energy GmbH & Co. KG. The approval process was carried out swiftly, so that in April 2012 the approval was granted by the district office. The wind farm has been in operation since summer 2013. Installed power 12 MW, make: Nordex, 5 × 2.4 MW, 140 meter hub height, 117 meter wing diameter, ground NN: 580-605 meters, power generation approx. 38-40 million kWh.
