Location: Birgland, Amberg-Sulzbach, Upper Palatinate, Bavaria, Germany
The path leads over a narrow ridge past various rock formations to the highest point of the Buchenberg, which at 633 m belongs to the roof of the Upper Palatinate Jura. Even if the scramble through the dolomite reefs is not particularly demanding, surefootedness is required, because every now and then it is also along steeply sloping cliffs. You can climb or climb around the individual rocks, but the rock formations can also be bypassed.
