To protect the bats, this mouth hole is also closed. There are certainly nicer tunnel entrances on the impressive mining nature trail, but this name alone is an attraction for a photo :)
The forest restaurant where you can actually get beer (and a Harz hiking pin stamp) is right next door. A trip there is worth it just because of the wonderful view of Lautenthal!
