"Somewhat run down" castle I wrote first. That sounds too nasty.
Let's put it this way: The original structure was not distorted by renovation.
The very charming castle is mainly used as an agricultural estate.
    Accordingly: Private.
From the Luxemburger Straße, in the south of Kleinbüllesheim, but you get a good look.
In 1728, the medieval castle was demolished and, according to the plans of master builder Johann Conrad Schlaun, a mansion
     built.
Lothar Friedrich Adam Baron of Bourscheidt, Kurkölnischer chamberlain, was the principal.

The reign of Kleinbüllesheim initially belonged to the reign of Tomburg and later came to the Cologne cathedral chapter. In the 14th century, Daniel von Irnich was in possession of the property, in the 15th century the gentlemen of Kleinbüllesheim were mentioned. The Great Castle came to the family of Counts Wolff-Metternich in Liblar through marriage in the 19th century, who still own them.
The medieval castle was demolished in 1728 and a manor house was built according to plans by the master builder Johann Conrad Schlaun. Lothar Friedrich Adam Freiherr von Bourscheidt, Cologne Chamberlain, was the client.
