Did it yesterday. The first few hours to Mitageck were very nice and easy, then it gets exciting.

You have to climb, difficulty 1-2, the problem is exposed terrain and every second stone you grab is loose. Thank goodness there are mountain pines. As the route is not signposted, sometimes you have question marks in your head as to where and how to continue. Taking your time and searching and thinking helps. The route takes time, you don't really make quick progress --> due to the terrain! The view is great - tip: if you have managed the whole route to the Kuhalm, then you have already covered a lot and are accordingly exhausted and worn out. Now there are two options No. 1 turn right at the Alm and follow the path. You don't really want to imagine what follows now. Challenging descent, partially secured with a wire rope and never ending. Also annoying at the stream/river, have to constantly cross to find the path - really not easy. Option 2, follow the forest path at the Kuhalm and take a leisurely stroll down. I would recommend it now!!!!! We did option 1 and argued, swore and cursed the world. Yes, we planned 7 hours and it ended up being almost 11, including a 1.5 hour break. But it just couldn't be done any faster - so if you're going to do this route, then really plan enough time!! You don't really want to get lost in the dark - have fun.

Exciting passage, which makes the Kienjoch also possible as a round trip. This variant for forestry requires sure-footedness and fear of heights should not have, since it often goes steeply laterally into the depth.
