The Moorish Kiosk was originally created for the 1867 Paris Universal Exposition. King Ludwig II bought it in 1876 and had it magnificently and imaginatively furnished with glass chandeliers, a marble fountain and a valuable peacock throne. Here he read and drank tea while appropriately oriental dressed servants smoking hookah formed a living background.😉👍
