The mediaeval Brunnby Kyrka Church is in the settlement of Brunnby, not far from the small coastal town of Arild, around 9 kilometers north of Höganäs.
Built of fieldstone, Brunnby Kyrka was built from the late 12th to early 13th centuries. It is particularly well-known for its rich and well-preserved frescoes depicting many saints.
The elaborately painted and decorated pulpit dates from 1623, the altarpiece is in the Baroque style. Numerous old votive ships hang from the vaults as a sign of the congregation's connection to seafaring. A very old picture of Mary originally comes from the chapel in Arild, a branch of Brunnby Kyrka.
