The Dreiweihern are actually worth a trip. However, the two largest ponds have been drained (maintenance work, probably a few more weeks). Worthwhile, as the pond floor is visible for once.

A wonderful place in every season! The recreational area above St. Gallen is a true idyll and is located on the northern slope of the Friends Mountain. A total of five ponds, not three, invite you to swim and relax. The waters were created in the 17th century and from the subsequent panoramic path you can enjoy a wonderful view of St. Gallen.
