You get particularly beautiful views of the Wattbach if you walk the path in the direction from Haggen SG to Riethüsli SG.The brook rises in the city of St. Gallen at the Stueleggwald on the Eggenhang at approx. 925 m above sea level. M. above St. Georgen [1] and flows in the Brandtobel to Liebegg in Riethüsli, where the stream under Teufenerstrasse and the tracks of the Appenzeller Bahnen continues through the Wattwald and flows into the Sitter from right in Zweibruggen in the Bruggen district.
