There were 6 drivable city gates in Rothenburg. The Klingentor, the Galgentor, the Rödertor, the Spitaltor and the Kobolzeller Tor can still be used today. The castle gate can only be passed on foot. Even today you can only enter the old town at one point without going through a gate or a pedestrian door.
