Hiking

According to legend, the land was once ruled by the cruel King Waze or Wazemann, who spread fear and terror with his wife and children. When he crushed a farming family with his horse, the farmer's wife cursed that God should turn him and his family into stone. Then the earth opened, spit fire and turned the king and his family into stone. In some variants of the legend is still told that the king and Obersee had arisen by the merged blood of the royal family and Watzmanns dogs crashed at the dog death
