The ascent to the Archenkanzel at 1,346 meters takes place via the Rinnkendlsteig from Bartholomä, which is located at 604 meters.

You climb through the forest over roots, boulders, and gravel in more or less large switchbacks. There are about 10 wooden ladders, what feels like 30 iron ladders, and 60 rope safety devices.

The most beautiful climbing sections begin at about 1,000 meters below the rock face of the Mooslahnerkopf. Here, the climb is entirely over rock. Upon reaching the Archenkopf, the forest begins again.
