The railway wheel set is 6 meters above the now buried end of 1965 set coal railway Oberhohndorf - Reinsdorf. The line had been put into operation in 1860 and in the following years tied up various coal shafts such as Wilhelmshacht, Morgensternschacht and Florenz Kästner Schacht. It overcame a difference in height of 64 meters over a length of 3.8 km and reached its highest transport capacity in 1905 with 733666 tons of coal.
