The dams in Oberberg are interesting and historically important buildings. The Aggertalspeere in particular played an essential part in the development of the textile industry in Oberberg.

A really nice area. There are some beautiful spots at the Aggertalsperre. In Lantenbach there is a natural swimming pool as well as a camping and tent site.

The Aggertalsperre is already a highlight in itself. If you like to feel the pain in your calves, you will love the approach to the dam - it is really nice and steep.
