There can be no question as to whether this cemetery is a highlight or not.
The facility alone is impressive. The importance of the place even more.
While in many places unasked war memorials “the fallen heroes” of the 2 world wars (supposedly they died for us!) Are declared as a highlight without questioning, people are really buried here who fought in the fight against fascism and wars of conquest. Those we are commemorating here made a significant contribution to pulling Germany out of the filth of shame and thus making our beautiful democratic constitutional state possible.
