The ascent to this viewpoint from Günserode coming is very steep, but only 0.6 km short. The vantage point was recommended to us by locals who described the view as "Grand Canyon" of their homeland. The view is really great - a great view over the valley of the Wipper and the surrounding heights (200 - 300 meters above sea level)
