The orangery, built at the end of the 18th century, is one of the most important examples of orangery culture in Thuringia due to the peculiarity of the building type. After almost 10 years of renovation work, a unique ensemble of historic buildings and a newly designed pleasure garden with fountains, lawns and shrub beds was created. Today the orangery is used as winter quarters for our own plants and for plants from Sondershausen Castle.
