The Vierbucher Mühle was first mentioned in 1576 and was a grain mill for a long time. At the beginning of the 20th century the first summer guests came and in 1953 the mill was closed.

Hiking

Fake is the wrong expression! It is a symbol of the former mill nearby. It was built and assembled in 1997 by a carpentry company in neighboring Hochwald. It replaced a hitherto existing construction of sheet metal. The water supply is clogged and again depending on the water level of the supplying creek. This is quite small and springs from a Siefen below Vierbuchen. In the summer this also runs dry.
