The Gdańsk malt factory ceased operations in 1998. Since then, the buildings of the former malt house have remained unused. The building complex, however, is a fascinating technical monument just because of its architectural design and, together with the local rooms, such as the ice store or the drying room, has meanwhile also been entered in the register of listed buildings.
