    In my opinion, the name "The former mouth of the Vistula" is misleading for tourists. The mouth of the Vistula is a few kilometers from here to the north - below Mikoszewo and Świbno, where the Vistula flows into the Sea.

    Maybe the author of this inscription had in mind that in this place the Vistula River changed its direction to the north-west until the 1890s, which lasted until the Vistula Crossing was completed. Then the Vistula River was directed northwards and the initial section of the former riverbed was filled up. Sailing sports are currently practiced on the further section of the old riverbed.
