The Jägersteig is an easy alpine climb. Nevertheless, you should be sure-footed and not afraid of heights, as there are some exposed areas with a risk of falling. If you are attentive and walk with the appropriate caution, the path is an absolute must on the Dobratsch. The view of the Gailtal, the Carnic Main Ridge, the Karawanken and the Julian Alps is magnificent.
