View of Lindenau Shipyard

This area has not been open to the public for so long, as it used to be inaccessible as a marine site. Currently large open space with some old buildings and sheds and a paved path along the shore. Some oversized deckchairs and seats invite you to linger - the wide view over the fjord on the east bank and towards the city should be enjoyed in any case.

The area open to the naval aviation squadron 5 since 2015, located directly on the Kiel Fjord between Friedrichsort and Holtenau, invites you to linger. There many resting benches were set up which afford a clear view of the fjord. Also a detour into the other public areas of the area are worthwhile.
