- Not much is left of the castle (retaining walls, castle cellar)
- the then "Walpurigskirche" "rose" from its castle chapel - first mentioned in 1275
- was evangelical since 1567
- In 1943 the church was destroyed by an air raid
- The octagonal church tower, which was "extended" in this form by Freiherr von Palm in 1812, has been preserved
