My little Sunday excursion .. 🥴More ambitiously planned than how I actually carried out the tour.I actually hoped for better weather - but was still happy to have been outside in the air.Unfortunately, the outward journey was again criss-crossed by construction sites and diversions - just annoying ... 🤯Starting from the hiking car park, I'm about two and a half kilometers to the Falkensteiner Höllen. And I have to say, through really beautiful forest roads.Until you finally stand in front of this large rock face with this imposing cave. Then I wanted to follow my planned route, but misunderstood the route on my Komoot Maps. And climbed the steep slope - right next to the cave on the left - up. With the result that I stood on the slope like a mountain goat 🐐.Climbing down the steep slope again was like going downhill 🧗🏻.Back on the right track, most of the route went through beautiful but also dense forest paths.Nevertheless, my own mood and condition of the day was not exactly in a good mood and, also due to the impending rain, I shortened the planned tour to 10 km.I will definitely catch up on my planned tour in spring at the latest ... maybe not alone would be nice!

Today the mass tourist tour 🙈Already in the hotel we were warned that the Hartkaiser was “a little more frequented”. And besides the view it won't be really interesting for hikers. And yes ... the Hartkaiser is a destination for families and walkers. But can definitely serve as a starting point for a longer tour! But the view and the panoramic view of the Wildern Kaiser is definitely worth the drive up.That was today a blatant counter-program to yesterday's guided hike across the rocks at the foot of the Wilder Kaiser (unfortunately the tour cannot be posted publicly).

Today a no hike ... in the early morning (10 o'clock) 😅 .. unfortunately just missed the sunrise .... 😅😁I started from the sports field in Buchheim across the field, towards the nearby forest. The forest path leads straight to Bronnen Castle, which looms over the Danube valley. The bridge to the castle itself is not accessible - because it is private. But serves as the perfect motif image 😉.Back along the hiking trail directly above the Danube valley. The entire lower valley can be overlooked at two spots in particular. The panorama is simply priceless.

Once again in the old home ... the Danube England. The region of ten thousand - the highest mountains and elevations of the Swabian Alb are here in the Tuttlingen district. Ten of these mountains exceed 1000 m above sea level. The highest mountain in the Swabian Alb is the Lemberg with a height of 1016 m above sea level. And once again I rediscovered my home. In 44 years I managed to climb up Lemberg for the first time. The Lemberg, Hochberg and Oberhohenberg mountain range is a perfect hiking route for experienced hikers. The route alternates between a gravel path, hiking trails, paths and well-trodden secret paths. The mountain range runs in the north / west as a typical Alb eaves, which is so characteristic of the Swabian Alb. And again and again opens up a giant panoramic view from the south to the north of the Black Forest.my second part of the tour took me over the mountain -Hochwald- opposite. Here Komoot once again screwed me with the route ... and then suddenly stood, literally, in the forest!Back on the right (Swabian for correct) path we went up a small path again, on the side of the high forest in the direction of Kehlen. The mountain edge of the Kehlen looks like an abandoned quarry, but is a natural demolition edge. And again an extremely impressive view from the distance. My last destination of my tour was the abandoned and unfinished route of the Heubergbahn to Gosheim. The viaduct and the car tunnel are the largest structures still standing. Occasionally there is still a bridge pillar in the forest. The tunnel is used as a pedestrian tunnel. The viaduct can be described as a lost place. But very impressive.I can only recommend a hike for the thousands ... but I would also reschedule my own route for another tour.

A wonderful late summer day in beautiful, historic Speyer. The main attraction "Speyer Dom" is enthroned at the end of the pedestrian zone and unmistakably marks the skyline of the city with several other churches. That was my first visit to Speyer, so I have not yet been able to take a closer look at all the historical sights in the city center. What also impressed me extremely was the nearby dune forest, adjacent to the north-west of the city. This is partly a military training area - but can be hiked through numerous paths. The landscape of the forest is so varied that you sometimes feel as if you are in the Lüneburg Heath or on a forest heights on a Canary Island. At the end of your visit to the city, I recommend treating yourself to an ice cream sundae in one of the numerous ice cream parlors. 🍨🍧 .. was megaCertainly not my last visit to the city😉

After a long time, finally another hike ... and then an advanced one 😅In any case, it was a hike on a new level for me. I guess I'm a bit rusty this year. But absolutely recommendable, mega impressive and includes everything you can imagine on a hike. And the Allgäu is particularly beautiful in the corner around Sonthofen and has a lot to offer hikers. The corner of the Allgäu will definitely see me more often 😄
