The rustic Anhalter Hütte from the DAV is idyllically situated on a hill in front of the imposing Heiterwand. Originally built in 1912, it was renovated in 2019-2021 without losing its original character.

It is currently closed. No hospitality, no overnight accommodation. Renovation and modernization work is taking place there. Reopening probably not until 2021 according to the homepage. I was there just a few days ago and on the Tschachaun. Otherwise a great hut with impressive panoramas.
