Opulent lark spur appearance on Freeden - I was inspired by Komootler HIKING STYLE WITH BEARD for this beautiful tour ... thank you very much!
I parked at the water treading pool in Bad Iburg. It's about to go uphill on the Hermannsweg to Kleiner Freeden. Especially on the left side of the path you can see the purple and white carpet of flowers of the larkspur.
But there are also many wood anemones (in white and rose), small violets and other early bloomers.
The Grosse Freeden is closed, I sat over it, 🤫 I was rewarded with even more flowers and views to the south and north.

The KATTENMÜHLE hiking car park near Veldrom is an ideal starting point for this circular hike. It goes straight uphill, the Silberbach is crossed and then on towards Lippischer Velmerstot. If you stand on the rocks you can already see the next destination, the Prussian Velmerstot (or its landmark, the Eggeturm).
There is a picnic break. I did without the view from the tower, it was too busy!
To reach the other highlight, the Bielstein Gorge, you first have to go down into the valley in the direction of Feldrom.
I had to cross the place, on the other side I went up again.
I was then able to descend again to the Bielstein Gorge. On the way I took a look into the HATCH HOLE. There is not much to see. Even taking pictures was difficult as it is fenced.
You can go into the Bielstein Gorge. I opted for the simpler variant, looking in from above. Below are some trees that prevent easy access.
It is possible, however, that I saw people in the gorge.
The way back was again very nice. I saw a lot of wild garlic and early bloomers (liverworts, wood anemones, etc.). The lark's spur blinks out here and there. There are the best conditions for the larkspur, it loves the calcareous soil.
A hike that I would love to do again!

It's wild garlic time, so I would like spaghetti with wild garlic pesto, of course home made by Baerbel

It is a maximum of 2 km from the Quellenental to the telecommunications mast. Therefore made a little detour towards Bußberg.
Unfortunately, my hope of seeing some liverworts on the way has not been fulfilled.
It was still a nice tour with lots of viewpoints. The visibility was particularly good.

From Berlebeck, where I (almost) always find a parking space 🚗, I quickly reach two of my favorite places in Teuto.
      These are
      1) the Falkenburg
This time I ignored the prohibition barrier, 🤫 there are only a few hikers on a weekday.
The view from there impresses me every time.
      2) the ghost canyon 👻
It just made sense to make a detour to the ghost canyon on the way back. I had to look for the path to it. OK then! 😏
The weather offered everything again, blue sky, 🌤🌞 gloomy clouds 🌌 and finally even snow flurries! 🌨❄
What more could you want ... 😄😁

The Luermännchenweg around Lemgo-Lüerdissen offers many beautiful views of the Lipperland and also leads directly through the forest. There is a short, steep climb on the Lattberg.
Have shortened a little, actually the way is longer ...
The weather wasn't great, the view is definitely even better when the sun is shining.

The Märzenbecher on the Schweinberg near Hameln are particularly punctual this year.
The area in the "Schweinberg" nature reserve is one of the largest natural collections of Märzen cups in Germany.
I think a longer journey is also worthwhile. The white carpet of flowers is impressive. Finally, I like to go to the forester's house HEISENKÜCHE. During Corona time, there is only sausage, coffee and cake TO GO on weekends. To be on the safe side, take a look at the website ...

Hepatica bloom from March to April, depending on location and temperature.
Just wanted to see if they already stretch out their feelers .... 😊
In fact, I found the first little buds ...

The Herford Bismarck Tower is often my destination, the paths of B.S. vary from.
Today I was astonished to see people on the top, which is unusual in the middle of the week.
I took the opportunity to climb up too. The view was great, a bit hazy, but still terrific ... 🤗
Before that I made a detour through the spa park, the early bloomers bring color into nature! 🥀🌼🌷🌸🌺
