In the half-timbered house "Storkenkate", the "Stork Foundation" provides information about its protection project. The half-timbered house was first mentioned in 1645. In 1797 it was moved by Neuhaus and in 1998 from Neuhaus to its present location in Preten. From here, a nature trail leads in the direction of the dike path at the Krainke. The path leads along the meadows with rear cattle and wild horses, through a natural forest with many old trees, there are also many information boards and a viewing platform "Kiekut Heinz Sielmann".
