Wisegrod Castle, built by Konrad Mazowiecki in 1231, was located here. The neck trench on the western side is still clearly visible. Impressive is the steep castle rock and the beautiful view. The high plateau of the Okopyberg is very large and was the ideal place for a refuge, on which the local farmers and their livestock fled at danger.
