The Alexandrinenstraße in Warnemünde is a parallel road to the street Am Strom. Both roads once belonged to the only one of the former harbor and fishing village Warnemünde. The street was formerly called Achtereeg, which means in Low German as much as Hinterreihe. In the picturesque little gabled houses once lived fishermen, sailors and pilots. Curious is the distance between the houses, the so-called Tüsche. It was so aligned that just a pregnant cow could go through.
