The small round chapel with niches on the edge of the forest was built in 1994 by the Marienkapelle e.V., largely in-house according to plans by the architect Hermann Wiechmann from Hayna and inaugurated in 1996. It impresses visually with a conical roof with roof turrets and bell as well as modern colored glazing of the windows. An old field chapel on Kapellenweg was demolished in 1960 because it was in disrepair. They promised to build a new, more beautiful chapel elsewhere.

Furnishing:
A neo-Gothic Pietà and a statue of St. Nepomuk from the 18th century, both painted. The photo documentation of the fallen and missing of the two world wars should also be noted.
