The Pyrzycka Gate was built in the 14th century. In the 15th century, it was expanded with a tower. It has been preserved in this form to this day. It was part of the defensive walls, which were 1,570 meters long and were built of stone rubble bonded with mortar and faced with pebbles arranged in regular layers. The walls were reinforced with rectangular bay towers, and the entrance to the city was protected by two gates: Pyrzycka on the western side and Myśliborska on the eastern side.
