  • very beautiful, idyllic waterfall in the middle of the forest.
Also not very far from the parking lot, so something for children who don't walk that far yet. Even if there is a few vertical meters on rel. short distance up, also for children. Especially when the goal is a waterfall.

  • The Burgbach waterfall lies dreamily in the Burgbach valley. The water falls over a rock face over 32 meters, making it one of the highest free-falling waterfalls in Germany. The Burgbach then flows to the wolf with a steep gradient.

  • Very remote. Plan for a bear park / Glaswaldsee. Wolfach Oberwolfach. Or coming from the Kniebis into the Wolftal. Plan free parking for backpacks. There are currently no refreshments and no shopping opportunities. As of April 2020

  • A great tour. Mostly small forest paths and root paths, very quiet with nice little highlights.
Refreshments in Zwieselberg at the Hotel Hirsch. About 300 m from the route of the tour.

  • According to Wikipedia, ´´The Burgbach waterfall near Bad Rippoldsau-Schapbach in the Black Forest is one of the highest free-falling waterfalls in Germany with a free fall height of 15 meters and a total height of 32 meters. The fall level is formed from resistant silicified sandstones of the Upper Rotliegend (Permian), which lie over more easily weathered and clearable granites. The waterfall is classified as a geological natural monument. The Burgbach then flows with a steep gradient to the Wolf.´´

  • The Burgbach waterfall is hidden in the forest. But once you've discovered it, everyone will rave about it.
Via serpentines and a staircase you reach the Burgbachfelsen, on which there is a refuge. From here mine has a wonderful panoramic view.

  • Quite unholy, hidden at the end of a small tranple path. Surrounded by steep, vertically sloping granite rocks. Highly recommended, but only when there is little visitor traffic.

  • Over 32 meters, the water falls directly over the Burgbach rock. The Bächelein meanders through the Burgbachtal and flows into the Wolf. The premium hiking trails "Klösterle loop" leads to the Burgbachwassserfall. Various hiking trails lead to the waterfall. Next to the waterfall is the Burgbachelsen, on which stands a viewing pavilion. From here you have a wonderful panoramic view.

  • This waterfall in its mystical environment of green mossy rocks jutting into the sky is worth a trip alone. The path with many stone steps could not have been made more beautiful.

  • With a total height of 32 m one of the highest free-falling waterfalls in Germany.
The waterfall is even illuminated in the evening. With a little luck you can also use the great seating (large wooden panoramic loungers) below the waterfall and relax there, enjoy the waterfall and the forests.
