An easy-to-navigate cycle path leads along the Linien Au with a great view of the river and several opportunities to rest.

The Glinder Au is a 17 kilometer long, right tributary of the Bille from the Stormarn district with an outlet in Hamburg-Billstedt.
The source of the Glinder Au is located northeast of Stellau, about 500 m south of the Braaker mill. It flows in a southerly direction and crosses under the federal highway 24.
There, in the Friederici Park local recreation area, it feeds the Glinder Mühlenteich and used to drive a copper mill. It then flows through the town of Glinde and then turns west in front of the embankment of the former Südstormarn district railway, where the Glinder Au forms the border between Oststeinbek and its Havighorst district. Here, at Gut Domhorst, there was a powder mill at the Domhorst mill pond.
Further west, just behind the right tributary Forellenbach, is the Oststeinbek mill pond. Behind it it reaches Hamburg territory, flows north of Mümmelmannsberg and becomes a lake again. After passing a fish ladder, it crosses under the A 1 again as a stream, where it widens below Kirchsteinbek to the Mühlenteich and then finally flows into the Bille about a kilometer south of it.
