Hello, dear Arctic Sea friends,
Brazil, California, and Schönberger Strand are known to be excellent beaches for surf fishing. With perfect weather, but conditions more like a duck pond, I headed to Heidkate for the first time in a long time to fish this wonderful groyne beach.
Heidkate belongs to the municipality of Wisch in the Plön district and is located about 15 km northeast of Kiel.
From autumn through spring, you can catch very good flatfish and sea trout there, and seasonally, you can also catch good garfish.
