Schönberger Strand

This is then a beautiful stretch of beach, with a kilometer-long, wide paved path 👍 directly behind the dunes.
In summer, this path is used a lot by pedestrians and cyclists, so you have to cycle carefully 😉
Although you cannot see the beach / water directly from this path (because the dunes are in between) ... there are "passages" to the beach every few hundred meters.

Beautiful beach section at the Baltic Sea Coast Bike Path. Unfortunately, one sees little of the water / beach, because most of the dunes are "in the way".

Sun-hungry tourists and residents of the seaside resort appreciate it .... the gently sloping, white and fine sandy beach in Schönberg. In total, almost 8 kilometers of beach wait for the Baltic Sea vacationers. Here everyone finds his place in the sun. Whether quiet, whether action or nudist holidays (nudist beach), on Schönberger beach with its extensive areas (California, Brazil, Holm) you can find his favorite activity.

Absolute highlight. The fried fish in the Bierteigmantel and the homemade fish cakes are the hit.

Now you can go to Brazil or California without having to get on the plane. Both are districts of the long beach section on Schönberger beach. Especially Brazil and California are very suitable for families because of their DLRG guarded beaches and many water sports.

The beach is in the low season and in winter really beautiful and certainly a highlight. However, in the summer months, although still bathing weather, completely overcrowded. The many parking areas behind the dike are then fully occupied with cars. In the off-season cycling is fun again.

Be sure to pay attention to the wind direction. Headwind is not so nice here.
