At the Zaybachbrücke (very picturesque place) you can already see the "Düsseldorfer Hütte" on the top right. From up there no much nicer view than from the Zaybach Bridge. That's why we saved ourselves the vertical meters over the gravel path, especially since you have to go back the same route (as a normal hiker).
Ask at the valley station and at the mountain station whether "Düsseldorfer Hütte" is actually open. At the beginning of July 2022, it was closed for a short time due to illness. There were little clues hung there; but at the Zaybachbrücke there is nothing left and many hikers did not know this.
