Still in the consciousness of many Hausener is certainly the crash of a small sports machine on 6 July 1994 during a strong thunderstorm. The pilot Franz Dullenkopf was killed in a crash. The commemorative plaque on the 51-year-old in the Hungerbrunnental lies in the grass in the curve.
