The Lone Valley and its surrounding area offer attractive travel destinations. The Charlotten Cave with its fascinating stalactites has long been known far beyond the region. In the Lone Valley Caves, the site where the famous mammoth ivory figures were found, the magic of prehistoric events can still be felt today; they can be explored on a short hike or by car.
The nostalgic museum train between Amstetten and Gerstetten is a very special experience. The Steiff Museum in Giengen has been expanded and offers wonderful insights into over 100 years of teddy bear history. Due to its proximity to the newly opened Legoland Germany, the Lone Valley is also an ideal addition and change to a visit to the amusement park.

There are many caves along the way with supra-regional prehistoric significance (ivory carvings, lion man). You will pass by the new archaeopark - visit worthwhile.
